BLOSSOMING AND FRUIT BEARING SEASONS

The olive tree before the maturity of its fruit, it passes for 10 phases:
Phase I: Winter yolk
In this stage the olive’s yolks have a short peduncle, they have a sharp form and they have a sharp form and they are completely shut.

Phase II: Outbreak During this stage the yolks increase, the peduncle begins to get longer and starts the formation of the floral cluster.

Phase III: It’s created the floral cluster, the bracts discover and they discover the chalice.

Phase IV: The chalice. It is dividing in two subphases:
a) Formation and the predominance of the chalice: It begins to see the corolla, the chalice is open and the floral bud is inflated.
b) Change of colour of the corolla: It continues growing the size of the floral bud, the corolla pass of the green colour to the clear yellowish.

Phase V: The yarns are estimated. It continues growing the size of the floral bud, the corolla begins to open, for what we can see the yarns.

Phase VI: The blossoming: It’s divided in two subphases:
a) The start of the blossoming: It begins to open the first blossoms, even make it completely.
b) The completely blossoming: All or almost all the blossoms are opened, for what we can estimate the environment to pollen.

Phase VII: Filling of the fruit: The ovaries are fertilized, for what it is growing. We can estimate the olive. All the petals begin to fade and it is finished to fall down.

Phase VIII: Hardening of the bone: It goes growing the fruit, approximately even the half of its final size. And the bone begins to take a woody appearance, offering resistance to the cut.

Phase IX: The fruit reaches the final size, for someone bands it begins to have another colour even arrived to spread for everything fruit.
Phase X: The maturity of the fruit. The olive arrives to the full maturity, for what it will be able to give of the peduncle. A time that the fruit matures, it begins the winter rest.
